About Us
Core Learning Values
We have identified the four core learning values that we most want to teach our children. We believe that these values: Respect, Teamwork, Independence and Creativity are the skills that will best equip our children for life in the 21st Century.
OFSTED Report
We a really proud of what we have achieved as a new primary school. We have many successes and a clear idea of what we think we need still to do to improve even further. Please click here to read our last OFSTED report (from May 2010). If you would like to tell us what you think we do well, or could improve, please either email the headteacher, Ken Kies k.kies@eden-park-primary.torbay.sch.uk or the school office admin@eden-park-primary.torbay.sch.uk or use the feedback links on the parents page.
Eden Park Primary School Aims
"We want every child in our school to reach their maximum potential, to be happy and confident, adventurous and determined to succeed, ready to become healthy global citizens. We work hard but we have fun!"
- To create together a learning community for children and adults that is high in expectation and challenge and grounded in first hand experience, a community that is self-evaluating and continually striving for improvement.
- To ensure that all adults and children in our school are respected and respect others, their cultures, their differences and their opinions.
- To encourage in our children a sense of care and tolerance and the courage to take responsibility for their own actions
- To secure a commitment to excellent behaviour
- To engage the whole school community in providing a powerful learning environment, rich in creativity and innovation, where we celebrate the achievements of all.
- To work with families and members of the local community to create strong links and to place our school at its heart.
We have a strong staff team
with a wide range of talents
and a great deal of experience.
They are enthusiastic and
committed to the school.
The school has positive links
with the local community and
our open door policy actively
encourages parents to work in
close partnership with us.
The school is the result of
amalgamation in 2005 and as
such benefits from the
continuous, progressive learning
of a primary school curriculum.
Our excellent facilities and
extensive site will be enhanced
dramatically by a new building
opening in September 2006.
For more information on us please see our prospectus.

Cop Cards 2

Eden Park are proud to work with the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and the other emergency services to launch the second Cop Cards scheme. The award winning initiative is aimed at children aged 7 - 11yrs and their families. Cop Cards 2 are available from Thursday 8th October 2009 with Eden Park School being chosen for the official launch on that date. The collection is based on the same successful format of two years ago, but this year will be more interactive in it's design and involving all the local Emergency Services. Albums will be distributed to the town's young people free of charge from the 8th October, and the stickers which make up the collection will also be available from this date. Children will see a return of the highly collectable 'Gold' and 'Silver' cards, and these will be joined by further 'Red' Green' 'Blue' and 'Orange' cards depicting Heads of other Emergency services. Other stickers depicting the work of the Emergency services, and the Neighbourhood Policing teams in Brixham will make up the collection which will total 33 stickers. The first Cop Card Book was delivered to Eden Park Primary School by an Olympic Torch style journey involving all of the local emergency services.
